The master of logic.

Three masters of logic wanted to find out who was the wisest one. So they invited the grand master, who took them into a dark room and said: "I will paint each one of you a red or a blue dot on your forehead. When you walk out and you see at least one red point, raise your hands. The one who says what colour is the dot on his own forehead first, wins." Then he painted only red dots on every one. When they went out everybody had their hands up and after a while one of them said: "I have a red dot on my head."
How could he be so sure?

difficulty - easy - medium.

Let there be 3 persons A,B,c. A being the one who tells the answer. Now there are 2 options for A:
1)He has blue dot
Then B is seeing one red and one blue .Similarly c is seeing one red and one blue. When B sees C's hand up, B would think that C is seeing a red dot and that must be B's(as A is blue). As B is wise, he should have answered that he has a red dot, but he keep quiet. Thus A doesnt have a blue dot.

Thus he answers that he has a red dot.

The answer for the question in VMC TS 2 Paper II is something one can never think of..
Here is the question:

Which one of the following has smallest radius?
a)Li+ b)Al 3+ c)Mg2+ d)Na+

The answer is

Al3+

my recent search on the net led to this.
Ionic radius of
1)Li+ = 68 pm
2)Al3+= 51 pm

Ha Ha Ha
Who would have done this question right?
